Just got the email alert from FlightAware that ZA003 is heading for Florida (KVPS) for cold soak testing. This is where they put the aircraft into a hanger and put the temperature to extremely cold temps that it will/can experience at cruise altitude.
Should be back to BFI in about a week from what I heard. She is scheduled to depart at 0600 and with it still being early spring there will be no lighting so sadly not going to make it to get her departure shots. This is the next step for the aircraft though to achieve completion of ground testing and get its type certification from the FAA.
